In fact, several of them are rumored to have inspired the castles that appear in Walt Disney’s animated films, including Château de Chambord which inspired the classic fairytale story The Beauty and The Beast.  Albeit the Castle is what most would consider nothing but beauty. The Alcazar of Segovia Castle in Spain inspired the romantic tale of Cinderella, a fairytale surrounding a beautiful princess who won the heart of her beloved prince and the Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany which brought to life the dramatic tale between good and evil and the power of love Sleeping Beauty.
